Calculations are based on ISO compliant crystal glass LCA. Calculation compares crystal glass
of 100% raw material with crystal glass of 50% glass breakage/50% raw material. LCA is cradle to gate (factory gate, no distribution). The minimum glass breakage is 50%. This leads to the (minimum) 34% lower environmental footprint. The environmental footprint takes into account all 16 environmental indicators of the ISO 14040.
